2011 New features andbenefits
Frame:
- New ø 50 mm Marzocchi Shiver fork increases riding precision and control.
- New upper and lower triples clamp with adjustable mounts allow to shift the handlebar in 6 different position.
- New frame: revised and strengthened at the stress points. Brand new red colour: a recall to the seventies glorious Beta bikes.
- New digital meter: compact and lightweight, now includes an hour meter, useful for maintenance.
- Improved clutch lever: better protection from water, mud and dirt gives you an increased reliability.
- New seat: optimized quick-release with double seat cover layer that increases the strength on the stressed corners.
Engine:
- New maintenance schedule: enlarged service intervals thanks to better engine reliability.
- Electric starter components DLCcoated for decreased friction and improved dryrunning properties.
- New clutch components: with minimized tolerances, new clutch basket and the adoption of antijudder spring improve reliability and give a smoother operation.
- New piston profile for less friction and wear (for 450 and 520 only).
- New connrod-bearing DLC-coated for improved reliability (for 520 only)
