Finnish Enduro Championship 2012

1st place for Beta Factory rider Marko Tarkala

Finnish Enduro Championship arrived in Riihimäki, 50km from Helsinki for the first spring race of the season.
It was a two day race with EWC format, very well organized by local Motoclub with nice paddock area and tecnical stages.
Race started Saturday morning 10.00am and Beta team riders Marko Tarkkala, Mika Tammien and Henri Himmanen were ready to ride for a good position.

Saturday each driver performed very well on their Beta RR Enduro 2012 and there was no problem at all in whole day. Marko was leading whole day in front of KTM rider Jari Mattila. End of the day Marko was first and Jari Mattila was second 38sec behind. Very good results for other Beta riders with Tamminen 5th and Himmanen 8th place.

Sunday race was a nice reply from day one. Marko did lead whole day and Jari Mattila was second. Tamminen and Himmanen improved their performances but final they where same position that day one: 5th and 8th.

Markko has missed 3 winter races and he is now 3rd in E3 class with 50 points. He is expected to race all the remaining Finnish championship so he will be surely compete for the leading position at the end of the season.

Nex races for Marko will be in Italian Enduro Championship and EWC in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy.
