STEVE HOLCOMBE ITALIAN CHAMPION IN THE ASSOLUTA. MATTEO CAVALLO WINS THE TITLE IN THE JUNIOR

Perfect weekend for the Beta Factory Enduro Team that wins the Assoluta with Steve Holcombe.

San Giovanni Bianco, a small town in the province of Bergamo hosted the last round of the Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro.

Our rider Steve Holcombe ran two perfect days of racing recording incredible and unattainable times in all three special tests. At the end of the two days of competition, Steve graduated for the first time as Italian Champion in the prestigious and coveted Assoluta. His season was perfect: eight victories on eight races (Steve was absent to the first round).
Christophe Charlier was missing cause sickness.

After the World Title won in France, Matteo Cavallo also conquered the Junior class at the Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro. The Beta Boano Team’s rider has also amazed everyone in the Assoluta by winning a second position on Sunday. Brad Freeman ended the season as Vice-Champion in the Stranieri class behind Steve Holcombe.

The maximum Italian Championship of Enduro close the gates of this season but the Beta Factory Team will be committed on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 October in the German GP, the last round of the World Enduro Championship.

STEVE HOLCOMBE

“A perfect weekend, since the first special test on Saturday I pushed a lot and I tried to distance my opponents. The opening day ended with a victory and I tried to repeat it also in the second day but for the middle of the race I had a bitter rival in Brad Freeman. Unfortunately, Brad crashed to the ground and retired and I had a clear path to win the second day of the race. After these two victories my first overall title arrived here in Italy. I’m really very happy and I want to thank all my team for the incredible work done this season.”
