RR 4T 350/390/430/480 MY 2023

To quote that famous song from the 1990s, nothing sums up the latest addition to the Beta family better than the words “simply the best, better than all the rest…”. While the world is rediscovering the values of essential functionality, Betamotor continues to ride a wave of impressive motorsports victories, and began the 2022 edition of the Enduro World Championship as incumbent champion once again. It is in this context that the Rignano sull’Arno-based constructor presents the new MY23 RR, a bike which carries over many of the characteristics that made its predecessor so unbeatable last season, but which has been revised with a number of significant new features introduced across the range, plus other upgrades specific to certain engine sizes, in order to maintain the unassailable supremacy of the RR family as a whole.

Suspensions

This solution makes the clutch action smoother, more progressive and more controllable, significantly reducing rider’s fatigue. Both engagement and disengagement have been improved, while the clutch is now capable of transmitting even more torque. What’s more, three different spring preload settings are available, adjustable with a simple mechanical procedure.

Traction control

The most significant new feature in the 4 Str range is the introduction of traction control, which made its début last year in the Racing range. To make the performance of its models ever more accessible to the rider in any situation, all 4 stroke Beta Enduro models now boast traction control.

Engine

To take full advantage of the increased torque at low to medium engine speeds made available by the new exhaust header, 4 stroke models now feature dedicated new engine management maps which spread the power curve out more uniformly across the entire usable range of the engine, making the performance of even the biggest displacement Beta bikes completely accessible.

Suspensions

In the quest for an even sharper, purer rider feedback, Betamotor’s engineers have revised the internals of the front fork – a ZF component, as on the previous generation – of the 2023 model year of the RR family. This results in an improved rider comfort and in a more effective fork support throughout the initial excursion of the damper. Therefore, the bike remains composed and controllable even in rough terrain conditions.
