Martini, Philippaerts And Pavoni Won the 250 2-Stroke, The 300 And The Youth.

Brad Freeman Italian Champion 2019.

On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October the eighth and ninth round of the Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro was held at Gaggio Montano, a small village in the Bolognese Apennines.

The Beta Factory Team arrived at the last stage of the maximum Italian championship with the Chilean rider Benjamin Herrera, while the new E3 class World Champion Steve Holcombe decided last of all not to participate to the race, due to an injured ankle problem.

During the weekend Benjamin Herrera ran a good race: in fact on the opening day he recorded several good times in the three special tests up for grabs and at the end his score is a seventh place overall and fourth in the Foreign class.

On Day 2 Benjamin Herrera had his best race of the Assoluti’s season: the Chilean rider fought until the last special for the second place in the Foreigners class, but was unable to grab it for a few thousandths of a second. The Beta rider finished in sixth place in the Overall and in third place in the Foreigners class.

Another amazing weekend for the Beta Boano Team: in fact Brad Freeman won the Overall and the Foreigner class, while Deny Philippaerts obtained the success in the 300 class and Matteo Pavoni in the Youth.

Great performance also for Gianluca Martini, in fact the Beta rider won the title in the 250 2-stroke class.

The Enduro World Championship and the Assoluti d’Italia are now over; the Beta Factory Team will be present at the Beta Day, scheduled on Sunday the 13th of October, and the next Six Days, that will take place in Portugal in November.

BENJAMIN HERRERA

« I am happy to have finished the Assoluti’s season with a good performance. For the whole weekend, but especially on Sunday, the feeling with the bike was incredible and fighting for the top positions was satisfactory”.
