All-round action: Beta conquers podiums and winning debuts in Enduro, Motocross, and Trial.
Another action-packed weekend for Beta! From the indoor SuperEnduro tracks in England, to the motocross tracks in France and Spain, to the technical areas of Iberian Trial, our riders brought home solid results, important podiums, and promising debuts. Here is the complete summary of the competitions.
The sixth round at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle saw Fraiser Lampkin shine, taking an excellent 2nd place overall in the Junior class. This is the second consecutive podium for the Englishman, a success celebrated in the best possible way in his home race. It was a more up-and-down evening for the other Junior rider, Felix Bähker, who finished 8th due to a few crashes in the final race, but who says he is ready to learn from his mistakes ahead of the next round.
In the premier class (Prestige), Tim Apolle recorded his best performance of the season, finishing 7th in one of the heats and moving up to seventh place in the overall standings. Alfredo Gómez ended the evening in 10th place overall, maintaining his eighth position in the championship: “It hasn’t been my best season, but I hope to finish well next week and then focus on Hard Enduro,” commented the Spaniard.
Finally, in the Youth category, Eneko Martínez showed great speed, narrowly missing the podium by finishing 4th overall.
Alexis Fueri got off to a great start at Castelnau-de-Lévis, the opening round of the French Motocross Championship, where he took a fantastic 3rd place overall in the MX2 category.
After a good fourth place in Race 1 – in which he kept pace with the leaders despite a collision and a fall, fortunately without consequences – Fueri upped the pace in Race 2. Starting immediately in second place, the rider took control for three laps, then managed the progressively hardening track with maturity to finish the race in third place. “I’m happy with how the race went, I’m ready to start the season in the best possible way, continuing to improve my feeling with the bike,” he said at the end of the day.
IThe 2026 Spanish Trial Championship (CET) officially kicked off in La Nucia (Alicante) with excellent results for the Beta Trueba team, which lined up at the start with a solid roster of thirteen riders. The real star of the weekend was Farners Fontdevila, who made a spectacular debut, culminating in a well-deserved victory in the Femenino TR1 category, demonstrating her immense talent.
There was also great satisfaction in the Cadet 125 class, with Pau Giralt finishing in 2nd place and his teammate Lluc Gómez in 3rd. Worth noting is the solid 4th place finish by reigning Junior A champion Víctor Del Blanco. It was a day of learning for rookies Jon Amos Bilbao and Silvestre Ginferrer in the Junior category, who were slowed down by a few penalties. The event also reaffirmed the absolute competitiveness of the Beta EVO and SINCRO models, which were taken to the top step of the podium in other categories by riders such as Jordi Sanjuan (TR3), Matyas Prasil (Junior A), and Xevi Surós (Veteran B).
In Calatayud (Zaragoza), the engines of the Spanish Motocross Championship (MX Elite) were revved up. The newly formed Beta Trueba MX Racing team made its official debut with Carlos Abel Peinado (MX1 on RX 350 2T) and Alejo Peral López (MX2 on RX 250 2T).
Peinado showed excellent consistency throughout Sunday’s weekend, finishing 9th and 8th in the two races of the premier class. “A very positive weekend,” he commented. “Great speed and very happy with both the RX 350 2T and the team.” In the MX2 class, Peral López was able to bounce back from an unlucky first race (14th due to a crash), significantly improving his pace in Race 2 with a nice 9th place finish. “The starts penalized me, but I’m happy to have improved as the race progressed,” said the Asturian, confirming his excellent feeling with his 250 2T.
