From the dust of Pietramurata to the ocean breeze of Viana do Castelo, Beta Factory riders were back in action this past weekend with a double-header of international racing: the MXGP of Trentino and the TrialGP World Championship round in Portugal.
Here’s how the weekend unfolded.

Portugal | Multiple podiums and two victories in Trial2 Women

The second round of the TrialGP World Championship took place in the coastal town of Viana do Castelo, offering riders a technical and demanding layout across two very different days: a wet and slippery Saturday followed by a drier, faster course on Sunday.
Once again, Matteo Grattarola proved his consistency at the highest level. With excellent bike control and rhythm, he climbed on the podium both days, finishing 3rd overall in the TrialGP class.

In the same category, Hugo Dufrese delivered a solid performance, finishing 8th on Saturday and improving to 7th on Sunday.
The TrialGP Women category brought more success, with Andrea Sofia Rabino showing outstanding form and taking 2nd place both days — a result that confirms her 2nd position in the overall standings.

Also in TrialGP Women, Naomi Monnier and Alice Minta posted consistent results, finishing 4th/5th and 5th/7th respectively.
In Trial2, Harry Hemingway was once again among the best: he finished 2nd on Saturday and took a fantastic win on Sunday, extending his lead in the standings.

His brother George Hemingway had a mixed weekend, finishing 3rd on Saturday, before a few mistakes dropped him to 9th on Sunday. David Fabian also showed steady progress, finishing 7th on Sunday.
In Trial2 Women, Beta riders dominated both days:
Wilde Moi won on Saturday and took 6th on Sunday
Daniela Hernando Martinez won on Sunday and placed 4th on Saturday
Holly Dixon claimed a 6th place on Saturday
In Trial3, Jonas Jorgensen earned a strong 3rd place on Saturday, while Alessandro Ame finished 6th and 5th across the two days.

Pietramurata, Italy | Watson 10th Overall – Koch 17th

The spectacular Italian track of Pietramurata hosted the fifth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship 2025, marking the second consecutive Italian round of the season.
Ben Watson (Beta RX450) had a strong weekend, starting with the 14th fastest time in timed practice and an excellent 8th place in qualifying. In Race 1, a less-than-ideal start pushed him down the order, but a solid recovery brought him back to 12th place. He repeated the result in Race 2, finishing 12th again after finding his rhythm in the second half of the race. These consistent results earned him a 10th place overall and the 12th position in the Championship standings.
“It was a positive weekend. I had a great feeling with the bike and I’m happy with my speed in qualifying. We’ve made a step forward, but I know there’s still more potential to unlock.” – Ben Watson
Tom Koch, after qualifying 13th, finished 19th in Race 1 and 14th in Race 2, showing determination and solid pace, especially in the second heat.
“I felt good on Saturday and was happy with my qualifying. Sunday’s conditions were tough with the rain, but we improved through the day. I’m confident heading into the next round.” – Tom Koch
