ELECTRONICS

LAUNCH CONTROL AND QUICK SHIFT

The 480 sees the debut of Launch Control (LC), which delivers maximum traction off the mark whilst eliminating wheel spin, and Quick Shift (QS) for changing gears without lifting off the throttle. The new control panel is protected by the redesigned handlebar guard and also incorporates the Map Switch and Traction Control.

SUSPENSION

KYB SUSPENSION WITH NEW RACING SETTINGS

The 48 mm ø KYB AOS closed-cartridge front fork and the KYB C46 RCU monoshock feature new hydraulic settings developed in competition. Fully adjustable, they ensure maximum damping, stability at high speeds and consistent performance even under the most demanding conditions.

ENGINE

NEW TITANIUM VALVES

Beta’s engineers have introduced new titanium intake valves with an optimised finish, designed to withstand the most extreme stresses at high revs. The engine also features a new mechanically operated chain tensioner with a recalibrated spring to reduce friction and ensure flawless starts, as well as an upgraded voltage regulator.

NEW TRAILTECH INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

The new Trailtech dashboard makes its debut: it is larger, more robust and easier to read in the most demanding riding conditions. It is paired with the new high-precision wheel sensor for flawless speed readings.

REINFORCED DRIVETRAIN GUARDS

The MY27 introduces the new chain guard with a reinforced structure to withstand mud and impacts, and the new, redesigned front sprocket guard offering wider, more robust coverage that complies with the strictest competition regulations.

LED HEADLAMP AND NEW HEADLIGHT MASK

Design and functionality come together in the new headlight mask featuring an integrated, energy-efficient LED headlamp. It offers a more powerful beam and results in lower power consumption, which is a real benefit for the battery.

SOFT GRIP HANDLEBARS

The new soft-compound grips absorb handlebar vibrations, reducing the strain on the forearms and allowing you to handle the 480’s exuberance with a secure grip and prolonged endurance.

ERGAL FOOTPEGS AND ZF SPROCKETS CHAINRING

Racing footpegs made from Ergal with steel pins for maximum grip and to facilitate foot movement. ZF Sprockets rear sprocket with an aluminium core and steel teeth for a perfect blend of lightness and durability.

RACING SEAT AND TWO-COMPONENT HANDGUARDS

A dedicated non-slip racing seat with a small pocket, reinforced two-component handguards, red anodised details (oil cap, filter, brake) and official Factory graphics give the 480 an unmistakable look.
