ENGINE

NEW CRANKSHAFT BEARINGS AND RICH POWER DELIVERY

The 250cc 2-stroke engine features a key mechanical upgrade for the MY 27: the introduction of new crankshaft bearings. This solution drastically reduces internal engine friction, improving the smoothness of the crankshaft’s rotation and overall reliability. The benefit is an even more responsive, lively and powerful power delivery across the entire rev range, ensuring immediate traction and decisive acceleration when accelerating from a standstill or picking up speed from low revs.
The new head, with a revised combustion chamber, uses a dual spark plug system: more combustion efficiency, full torque at all revs and stable carburetion even in the most difficult conditions. Thanks to better mass centralisation and a lower centre of gravity, the 250 is even more balanced and manoeuvrable, making every track pure fun.

Chassis

‘NO OIL INJECTION’ CONFIGURATION AND QUICK-RELEASE WHEEL SPINDLE

As with the entire range of two-stroke competition models, the RR RACE 2T 250 continues to forgo the automatic oil injection assy in favour of a traditional fuel mixture, thereby achieving the greatest possible reduction in the vehicle’s overall weight. The race-ready specification is completed by the quick-release front wheel spindle with a red anodised lever.

Suspension

KYB SUSPENSION PACKAGE WITH MY27 SETTINGS

The suspension system remains at the top of its class with the 48 mm closed-cartridge KYB front fork and the KYB C46 RCU monoshock. For MY27, Beta’s racing department has developed new, dedicated hydraulic settings for both units, optimising shock absorption and increasing the bike’s stability.

LED HEADLIGHT AND NEW HEADLIGHT MASK

A redesigned headlight mask incorporating a new, powerful LED headlamp, capable of providing a superior beam whilst consuming less power.

INSTRUMENTATION TRAILTECH AND REED SENSOR

New Trailtech digital dashboard – larger, more robust and easier to read – paired with a high-precision wheel reed sensor.

REINFORCED CHAIN GUARDS

Redesigned chain guard to withstand mud and stones, complemented by a new, wider pinion cover that complies with competition regulations.

SOFT-COMPOUND GRIPS

Soft, vibration-absorbing grips to reduce arm fatigue.

ERGAL FOOTPEGS AND ZF SPROCKETS

Ergal racing footpegs with steel pins for maximum grip, and a bi-material sprocket with an anodised aluminium core and steel teeth.

High-support seat with non-slip covering and document pocket, flanked by reinforced bi-component handguards.

MECHANICAL EFFICIENCY AND IMMEDIATE RESPONSE

The RR RACE 2T 250 MY27 takes the efficiency of the 2-stroke engine to the highest levels.
