The historic Loketske Serpentiny circuit in Loket hosted the Czech Republic Grand Prix, the thirteenth round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship.

In the premier MXGP class, Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) put in a superb performance: twenty-first in free practice and fourteenth in timed practice, the Belgian began his climb up the order in qualifying, finishing in eighth place. In the main races, he proved himself among the best, securing an excellent 8th place in Race 1 (after a strong comeback) and 9th place in Race 2 (after starting 15th). These results earned him 7th place overall for the day — his best performance of the season — and saw him climb to 15th position in the championship standings.

Jago Geerts: “I’m absolutely delighted with my weekend at Loket. I felt good on the bike all weekend and managed to finish in the top ten in both qualifying and the championship races. Seventh place overall is a great achievement. I’ll be aiming to keep this momentum going at my home Grand Prix next weekend in Lommel.”

In the absence of the injured Alexis Fueri, Brando Rispoli (Beta RX250 2T) represented the MRT Racing Team Beta Factory in the EMX2T European Championship (held as a single round at Loket). Fifth in his qualifying group, the Tuscan rider was lightning fast in Race 1, finishing 3rd. In Race 2, he got off to another excellent start, holding second position for the first half of the race before finishing 3rd. These results see him climb onto the third step of the podium in both the day’s overall standings and the championship.

Brando Rispoli: “I’m very happy with this podium finish. It wasn’t easy because the track was very demanding and the standard of the competition was high. This is an important result that spurs me on to do even better in the upcoming rounds of the EMX250 European Championship.”

Also worth noting in the EMX250 category were the excellent performances of Tommaso Isdraele (fastest in qualifying, 4th in Race 1 after a great comeback and forced to retire from Race 2 due to a physical issue whilst in 4th place, 11th overall) and Francesco Bassi (retired from Race 1 due to damage to his bike following a collision, a fantastic 5th in Race 2 and 12th overall).

The MRT team is now preparing for the fourteenth round of the season at the challenging Lommel circuit, for the Belgian Grand Prix.

The fourth round of the TrialGP returned to the UK, on the Welsh coast of Anglesey, featuring highly technical sections built directly onto the rocky shoreline.

In the women’s category, Andrea Sofia Rabino was the undisputed dominator, securing victory on both days of competition. She said: “I’m very happy to have won four out of four races; the gap in the world championship standings is getting smaller. There are still several rounds to go, and I hope to carry on like this.”
In the premier class, Jaime Busto took second place (P2) on Saturday and third place (P3) on Sunday. Matteo Grattarola also put in an excellent performance, finishing 3rd on the first day and 5th on the second.

Matteo Grattarola: “It was a positive race; I’m happy with third place, though it’s a shame about the second day – I was a bit unlucky there. There are still several rounds to go, so we’ve got room to make up ground. Now it’s time for a bit of a rest, and then we’ll be back in action!”

In Trial2, the Hemingway brothers put in some great performances, starting with Friday evening’s qualifying session where George Hemingway set the fastest time (securing the last position on Sunday’s starting grid) and Harry Hemingway finished with a run surpassed only by Toni Bou (second-last position on the starting grid on Saturday).
• Harry Hemingway: He got off to a flying start on Saturday and, with an exceptional performance in section 9, consolidated his 3rd place in Race 1, going on to finish 4th overall for the day. On Sunday, he finished 5th in Race 1 and, thanks to a very strong second lap, climbed back up to 4th place overall for the day.
• George Hemingway: After winning Friday’s Super Pole, on Saturday he finished 5th in Race 1 and won Race 2, securing maximum points and 2nd place in the day’s overall standings. On Sunday, in some very close races, he finished joint 3rd in the first race and joint 7th in the second, placing 5th overall for the day.

George Hemingway: “I’m very pleased with how the weekend went for me. On the first day I fought hard and managed to finish 7th and 1st in the races, which put me in 3rd place in the overall standings. On the second day I found greater consistency […] These two consecutive podium finishes have moved me up the standings and are helping me keep the leader in my sights.”
