A historic hat-trick in Spain, Hemingway’s dominance in the UK and battles in the mud at Teutschenthal.
The engines never stop and the Beta spirit continues to beat strongly on every type of terrain. From the technical, sun-drenched sections of the Iberian Peninsula, through the unpredictable German weather, to the classic British tracks: our riders have once again demonstrated what it means to race with determination. From a podium monopolised by our young talents, to family triumphs and tenacious comebacks, here is a recap of an intense and unforgettable weekend of racing.
The third round of the SPEA RFME Spanish Trial Championship, held in Gironella (Barcelona), was the scene of a result that will go down in the annals for Beta Trueba.
In the Cadet 125 category, our young talents literally monopolised the podium. Pau Giralt guided the charge, securing overall victory with a final score of 25 points. Alongside him, teammates Jordi Parés (26 points) and Lluc Gómez (31 points) completed a historic one-two-three, achieving an unprecedented result for the 2026 Beta Trueba Trial Factory Team.
There was also great satisfaction in the other classes: in the premier TR1 category, Jaime Busto secured a valuable second place aboard his new SINCRO FACTORY 300 2T MY26. Although he narrowly missed out on victory in an extremely close race, the Basque rider now leads the overall standings on equal points.
In the same elite category, David Fabián Jr. finished in sixth place: “It was a difficult race due to the challenging terrain,” said David. “I didn’t get off to a great start, but halfway through the first lap I started to feel more at ease. I rode much better on the second lap, but in Section 5 I took a five which cost me a place in the top five. Overall, I’m satisfied.”
Also in TR1, Gerard Trueba put in an excellent performance, whilst Jon Amos Bilbao and Silvestre Ginferrer secured top-10 finishes in the demanding Junior category.
Among the women, Farners Fontdevila secured a valuable second place, confirming her lead in the women’s TR1 class, a success complemented by the individual victory of her teammate Maria López. Beta’s dominance was underlined by the victories of Jordi Sanjuan (TR3), Xevi Surós (Veteran B) and the double podium finishes in the Junior A and Cadet (Copa) categories. The next round of the 2026 CET will take place on 4 and 5 July in Pobladura de las Regueras.
On British soil, the British Trial Championship turned into a real “family affair” for the Hemingway brothers, who shared the spoils during a weekend of absolute dominance.
On the opening day, George Hemingway claimed the top step of the podium, closely followed by his brother Harry in second. On Sunday, the positions were simply reversed: victory for Harry Hemingway and second place for George.
A show of strength that reaffirms the talent and dominance of the two riders on their Betas.

The Talkessel circuit in Teutschenthal hosted the German Grand Prix, the seventh round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship.
In the MXGP class, Jago Geerts (Beta RX 450) finished qualifying in eighteenth place. After a first race marred by a crash on the first lap (finishing 20th), the Belgian made the most of the track in Race 2, crossing the line in fourteenth position. Twentieth overall for the day, Geerts is nineteenth in the championship: “In the first race I crashed on the first lap and had to fight my way back on a track I struggled to get to grips with. In the second, I felt good straight away and pushed as hard as I could. The feeling is that I’m improving every week; the results aren’t yet what I’m aiming for, but we’re heading in the right direction.”
In the EMX250 European Championship, Brando Rispoli (Beta RX 250 2T) had a race of ups and downs. Sixteenth in qualifying, he finished Race 1 in 36th position. In Race 2, he showed his character: starting among the top fifteen, he climbed up to tenth position, suffered a crash that saw him slip back, but recovered to finish 12th (19th overall for the day). “I struggled in qualifying but found a good rhythm during the races,” explained Rispoli.
A bitter weekend for Alexis Fueri (Beta RX 250 2T). After an excellent seventh place in qualifying, he had to retire halfway through Race 1 following a crash, choosing not to start Race 2: “I’ve had a very difficult weekend. I’m disappointed and I want to apologise to the whole team. I’ll use the next few days to regain my self-confidence.”
The MRT Racing Team Beta Factory is already ready for the third race in three weeks: the next round is in Latvia, at Kegums.
