Beta shines in Africa and Portugal: strong performances in the Hard Enduro World Championship and dominance in national competitions
Another intense weekend for Beta, active on multiple international and national fronts with remarkable results: from the legendary Roof of Africa in Lesotho — final round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship — to the season finales of the Beta Trophy Portugal and the National Enduro Sprint Championship. A weekend that once again confirms the strength and presence of the brand across off-road competitions worldwide.
Gomez closes the season with a solid seventh place
The 2025 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship came to a positive end, with Alfredo Gomez among the protagonists of the grueling Roof of Africa, held from 20 to 22 November.
The Spanish rider delivered a performance marked by consistency, pace, and determination, staying steadily within the lead group throughout all three days and finishing with an excellent 7th place overall.
“The race went well, I’m happy, even if it could have been better,” Gomez explained. “I stayed in the first group the whole time, always inside the top 10. On the final day we had a group crash that slowed us down, but I managed to recover up to seventh.”
A strong performance also from Sandra Gomez, who secured 10th place in the Silver Class, finishing as the best female athlete of the event.
Also lining up for the Roof of Africa was Felix Bähker, who delivered a determined effort in one of the toughest events of the season. After securing 15th place in the Time Trial and 19th on the second day, his race unfortunately ended early following a crash on day three. Medical checks later confirmed no major injuries, and Felix highlighted the positive experience, closing his season on a high note after securing the Junior Vice World Champion title.
For Alfredo, the strong result in Lesotho confirms the progress shown in the final part of the championship and lays a solid foundation for renewed ambitions in 2026. A special thanks goes to Rock Steady, Beta’s South African importer, for their technical and logistical support during the event.
High participation and victories across all classes
The city of Viana do Castelo hosted the fifth and final round of the Beta Trophy 2025, one of Portugal’s most popular national off-road trophies.
An event featuring nearly 50 riders and confirming the growing appeal of this series.
The importer Moto Espinha/Beta Portugal ensured outstanding organization and provided special prizes for the top finishers in the 2T and 4T classes.

Beta domination in the Elite and Verdes classes
Also in Viana do Castelo, the fourth round of the Moto Espinha 2025 National Enduro Sprint Championship took place, with Beta riders achieving notable results across multiple categories.
In the Elite class, it was total domination:
• 1st place: Ruben Ferreira (Beta RR Race 350)
• 2nd place: Diogo Ventura (Beta RR Race 390)
In Verdes 1, Lucas Espinha claimed victory with his Beta RR Race 125.
In the Super Veterans class, a strong 3rd place went to experienced rider Tony Carvalho (Beta RR Race 350).
A highly successful day for Beta Portugal, now preparing for the final round of the championship, scheduled for 7 December in Castelo Branco.
