Grattarola Crowned Italian Champion: Beta Dominates National Trial Series

A historic weekend for Beta: Matteo Grattarola clinched his 16th Italian Trial Championship title, Andrea Sofia Rabino secured a double win, and Gabriele Saleri claimed the TR2 championship crown. Strong results also came from the junior categories, confirming Beta’s dominance in the national competition.

Grattarola Makes History – 16-Time Italian Champion

At Santo Stefano d’Aveto (GE), through rain, sun, and demanding technical sections, Matteo Grattarola once again proved his mastery in Trial. A clear victory on Saturday and a smart, controlled ride on Sunday secured his 16th national title, cementing his status as a legend of the sport.
“It was an intense weekend, and wrapping it up with another title is a huge satisfaction! Saturday was tough due to the weather, but the bike performed perfectly,” said Grattarola.

Rabino Unstoppable in Women’s TR1
Andrea Sofia Rabino dominated the weekend, winning both rounds back-to-back and taking a decisive step toward securing the Italian title. Solid performances on both days showcased her ability to handle Saturday’s challenging weather and deliver another flawless run on Sunday.

Saleri, Poncia, and Ronca Complete a Perfect Weekend
• Gabriele Saleri clinched the TR2 Championship with two commanding victories.
• Edio Poncia dominated the TR3 125 category with a double win.

In TR3 Open, Beta secured a double podium with Graziano Ronca taking the win and Mirco Martelloni finishing right behind.

David Fabián – Double Victory and Spanish Championship Lead

Not just in Italy: On the same weekend (July 26–27) in Pobladura de las Regueras, Spain, David Fabián jnr. delivered a spectacular performance in the TR2 class of the Spanish Trial Championship.

With two flawless wins, Fabián now leads the championship standings heading into the final round in Entrimo (Galicia) this September. This result brings Beta closer to another major international success.

MXGP – Sampo Rainio #42 Dominates MX2 in Loket

During the MXGP of Loket, in the MX2 category, Sampo Rainio #42 put on a stunning display aboard the brand-new RX 250 2T.
With a dominant double race win, Rainio climbed to the top of the podium, showcasing the full potential of Beta’s new 2-stroke motocross machine. This emphatic victory marks a milestone moment for Beta on the international MX scene.

MXGP – Watson and Koch Show Progress in the Premier Class

On the legendary “Serpentine” track of Loket, with challenging weather conditions, Beta Factory riders Ben Watson and Tom Koch brought home valuable points:
• Ben Watson (RX 450) → Finished 11th overall, with two consistent 12th-place results and competitive lap times, now ranking 13th in the championship.
• Tom Koch (RX 450) → Placed 15th and 17th in the two motos, after a strong start in race 1 and a solid comeback in race 2.

Red Bull Romaniacs – Beta sul podio in Silver e vittoria in Bronze

At the 2025 edition of Red Bull Romaniacs, Beta riders delivered outstanding performances in both the Silver and Bronze classes:
• Bronze Class – Diego Chang (Guatemala): 10th in the prologue, 1st overall. A prestigious victory in one of the most competitive categories.
• Silver Class – Ott Kornel (Romania): 2nd in the prologue, consistent results throughout the race (3rd on days 1, 2 and 3, 2nd on day 4), securing 3rd place overall.
• Gold Class – Alfredo Gomez: 6th in the prologue and day 1, forced to withdraw due to a hand injury.

Felix Baehker (Germany): Finished 8th overall in the Gold Class.

Once again, Beta motorcycles prove their strength and reliability, standing out even in the toughest and most demanding discipline of the global enduro scene.
