The weekend saw Beta Motorcycles Australia riders, Ruben Chadwick and Ebony Nielsen, head to Esk, Queensland, for Round 2 of the Australian Hard Enduro Championship. The brand-new venue, Murrumba Madness, greeted riders with dry weather and frosty morning temperatures, presenting technical and unforgiving terrain that challenged competitors throughout the weekend. Saturday featured a short but demanding prologue loop, filled with rocky creek sections and tight technical lines.

Ruben Chadwick battled closely with the competition and executed a well-timed pass in one of the few overtaking spots on the course. He held his ground and brought home a strong 2nd place finish aboard his RR 300 RACE. In the mixed Silver class, Ebony Nielsen put in a determined ride to claim 8th place, showing solid form ahead of Sunday’s main race. Sunday delivered near-perfect racing conditions for the main race. Ruben was second off the start line and quickly took the lead, maintaining it with a masterful performance, crossing the finish line with a lead of over eight minutes over the second-place rider.

This dominant victory puts him back in the championship lead. Ebony Nielsen showed great progression in her first hard enduro race in a while, concluding in 15th place. After Round 2, Ruben Chadwick maintains his lead in the 2025 Australian Hard Enduro Championship standings.

It was a weekend of celebration for the Beta Portugal team in Figueira da Foz, where several National Champion titles were secured, confirming the dominance and quality of both the team and Beta bikes.

Elite Class:
• Renato Silva, on his Beta RR Race 390, became National Champion in Elite 2 — a brilliant performance throughout the season.
• Ruben Ferreira, on his Beta RR Race 250, secured the National Championship in Elite 1, demonstrating he is among the best riders in the country.

Open Class:
• Beta’s domination continued with Gonçalo Maria, National Champion in Open 1 with his Beta RR Race 250, after a strong and consistent season.

Verdes Class:
• Lucas Espinha, riding his Beta RR Race 125, secured a solid 3rd place in the Verdes Overall standings.
• Marco Vicente, last year’s Beta Trophy winner, stood out with a 2nd place in Verdes 2.

Youth Cup:
• Lucas Espinha stepped onto the podium with an excellent 2nd place, while Marco Costa finished in 3rd position.

This weekend marks the close of another season filled with achievements, where Beta proved its excellence on the track, supported by the quality and reliability of its bikes.

After an energetic start in Alcobaça, the Beta Trophy sped toward Figueira da Foz for another weekend of high-level competition. With a strong starting grid of riders, a challenging track near the sea, and an atmosphere worthy of big events, there was no shortage of excitement and competitiveness.
The Moto Espinha/Beta Portugal team, importer of Betamotor, once again provided the best conditions for the participants, offering fantastic prizes for the top five riders in both 2T and 4T categories.

2T Class:
• Lucas Espinha was the big winner, stepping onto the highest spot on the podium with 1st place after his 2nd place in Alcobaça.
• Marco Vicente, last year’s Beta Trophy winner, achieved an impressive 2nd place.
• Completing the podium were Carlos Cunha (3rd), Tiago Rodrigues (4th), and Vitor Tavares (5th).

4T Class:
• Diogo Nogueira was the strongest, claiming 1st place.
• Martim Pereira finished 2nd, while the experienced Tony Carvalho came in 3rd.
• Nelson Cabeça secured 4th place, and Antonio Capitão rounded out the group in 5th position.

With another weekend filled with competition, sportsmanship, and spectacle, the Beta Trophy once again demonstrated the vitality of Enduro in Portugal.
