Magical Night in X-Trial and Junior Dominance in SuperEnduro. Beta Triumphs in Portugal Too.
A weekend full of emotions for Beta, competing on multiple international fronts. From the spectacle of the X-Trial World Championship in Ponte di Legno, where Grattarola took the podium, to the first round of the SuperEnduro in Poland dominated by our young talents, culminating in triumphs at the National Enduro Sprint Championship in Portugal.
The fourth round of the X-Trial World Championship, held in front of the home crowd at the Palasport in Ponte di Legno (Brescia), delivered great satisfaction for the Beta Offroad Factory Team.
The official riders were protagonists of an exciting head-to-head battle for the third step of the podium: after a hard-fought tie-breaker, Matteo Grattarola came out on top, gifting Beta a precious third place.
Fourth position went to teammate Harry Hemingway, confirming the excellent form of both riders.
In the general standings, Hemingway is now 4th, followed by Grattarola in 5th. Next round: January 24, 2026, in Leeds (UK).
The 2025/2026 SuperEnduro World Championship kicked off in Gliwice, Poland.
In the Junior category, Beta literally dominated the scene: Milan Schmüser achieved an extraordinary first place overall, followed by fellow Beta rider Ramon Godino in second, securing a splendid one-two finish.
In the Prestige class, it was a complicated weekend for Alfredo Gomez (Beta AG Racing Team): a few crashes compromised his races, relegating him to 11th place overall (10-10-8 in the heats), but the Spaniard is already looking forward with confidence to the next round in Germany.
A good display of character for Tim Apolle, who reacted to a crash in Race 1 by finishing with a solid 12th place overall and excellent lap times.
The championship now moves to Riesa (Germany) on January 3rd.
Great news also from Portugal, where the National Enduro Sprint Championship concluded in Castelo Branco.
The Moto Espinha/Beta Portugal team celebrated a series of national titles:
• Ruben Ferreira (RR 350 Race) is the Elite National Champion, dominating the class undefeated.
• Lucas Espinha (RR 125 Race) is crowned Verdes 1 National Champion. Also noteworthy is the 3rd place in the Elite championship for Gonçalo Maria, the Vice-Champion title in Verdes 1 for Salvador Sampaio, and the 3rd place among Super Veterans for Tony Carvalho.
