XTrainer, X-PRO, RR Race: which one should you choose?
With the introduction of the new X-PRO, Beta has now completed a true progressive ladder in enduro, designed to meet the needs of every rider, from first-timers to podium-level racers.
A lineup that starts with the XTrainer, climbs through the X-PRO, and peaks with the RR Race, three different approaches, all built on the same foundation: rideability, reliability, and pure off-road passion.
Let’s compare these three models, both from a technical and user-experience standpoint, to help you choose the Beta that’s right for you.

Built for those new to enduro, returning riders, or anyone looking for an easy-going, manageable bike. It’s also a solid base for Hard Enduro, especially for those building a technical climbing machine.
- 300cc 2-stroke engine in a “soft” version (also available in 250cc)
- Lightweight, intuitive chassis, low seat height
- Great even on slow, technical or trial-style trails
- Extremely easy to maintain
- On high-speed tracks or aggressive jumps, it may feel less stable or capable compared to the X-PRO or RR.
But for amateur enduro and trail riding, it’s a perfect choice.
With the MY 2025 updates, the new X-PRO has become the true sweet spot of the Beta lineup.
- Fully reworked ZF suspension with SHC fork and dedicated shock, both comfortable and capable
- Lower seat height for added comfort
- Radiator expansion tank, front recovery strap, handlebar silent blocks to reduce vibrations and enhance ride comfort
- Revised chassis geometry, lower center of gravity, much improved handling
- SHC Fork (Separate Hydraulic Chamber): The new fork has been designed with an asymmetric layout to optimize hydraulic performance and reduce overall weight (by approximately 250g), significantly improving the bike’s handling. The right stanchion manages the spring function, while the left one now focuses exclusively on hydraulics, both are fully adjustable through new, precise adjusters.
This is the ideal bike for real enduro, including Hard Enduro, and a great entry point for racing. It offers stability, precision and control, without being overly demanding or fatiguing.
If you’re an advanced amateur, this might just be the only bike you need.
This is the bike for those chasing peak performance. The RR Race is the closest version to what our Factory riders use in the EnduroGP World Championship.
- Racing-derived KYB suspension
- More powerful engines across the entire range (dual spark on 250 & 300 2T)
- Ergal accessories, dedicated graphics:
- Quick-release front axle
- New handguards
- Anodized aluminum/steel rear sprocket
- Dedicated racing seat
- Anodized gear lever and rear brake pedal
- Anodized oil and filter caps
- Red Ergal chain tensioners
Built for competition, the RR Race stays true to Beta’s “rideability” philosophy, but it’s sharp, precise, and responsive.
It requires more physical input, but delivers maximum performance when racing or pushed to the limit by experienced hands.
These are three bikes with three distinct approaches. It’s not about which one is better or worse, it’s about choosing the one that fits you, your riding style, and the kind of terrain where you have the most fun.
That’s the Beta way.
