Special night at the X-Trial in Leeds and Indoor success in Italy: Beta shines on multiple fronts
A weekend full of satisfaction for Beta, competing across the X-Trial World Championship and the opening round of the Italian Indoor Championship. From the historic first World Indoor podium secured by Harry Hemingway in front of his home crowd in Leeds, to the steady progress of Matteo Grattarola, and on to the Italian successes in Verona during the Motor Bike Expo.
The sixth round of the X-Trial World Championship, held at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, delivered a memorable night for the Beta Trial Factory Team.
The standout performer was Harry Hemingway, who claimed an outstanding second place, securing the first World Indoor podium of his career in front of the home fans. After finishing Q1 in fourth position despite some early difficulties, the British rider raised his pace, winning Q2 and earning his place in the final. An excellent performance in the fifth section put him back in the fight for victory, allowing him to take second place overall.
It was also a special weekend for George Hemingway, making his debut in the X-Trial World Championship. The young rider showed great personality by opening the sections and delivering a solid Q1 performance, finishing sixth and qualifying for Q2.
A positive and encouraging performance as well for Matteo Grattarola, who finished the event in fifth position, confirming a good feeling with the bike on particularly long and technical sections.
The next round is scheduled for February 8, 2026, at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
The Beta weekend continued in Italy, in Verona, during the Motor Bike Expo, which hosted the opening round of the Italian Indoor Trial Championship.
A strong start to the season for Andrea Sofia Rabino, who finished second in Friday’s race before dominating on Sunday, winning both heats and stepping onto the top of the podium.
Encouraging results also for Carlo Alberto Rabino, fourth on Friday and second on Sunday, already showing excellent competitiveness aboard the new Sincro.
