It was a packed weekend on all fronts for the Beta Factory riders, who took to the track in the international rounds of the TrialGP, EnduroGP and MXGP World Championships. Between mud, sand, and technical sections, the weekend brought surprises, strong performances, and clear signs of progress.

Málaga, Spain

The 2025 TrialGP season kicked off with plenty of excitement for Beta on a high-level technical course set against a breathtaking seaside backdrop.
Andrea Sofia Rabino started her season in the best possible way: a win on Saturday, second place on Sunday, and a strong P2 in the overall TrialGP Women standings.
Matteo Grattarola also delivered solid results: P4 on Saturday and P5 on Sunday, keeping himself among the top riders in the category and confirming his status in the TrialGP top 5.
Hugo Dufrese closed the weekend with a 6th and 7th place finish across the two days.
In Trial2, the Hemingway brothers stood out with excellent performances: Harry climbed on the podium twice with a P3 and P2, while George claimed the win on Sunday. In Trial3, Jonas Jorgensen dominated with a double victory.

Fafe, Portugal

The new FIM EnduroGP World Championship season finally got underway over the weekend in Fafe, around 50 km from Porto, Portugal. The race course spanned 61.6 km, featuring a spectacular yet tricky 1.8 km Extreme Test lined with the classic granite rocks typical of Portuguese enduro, followed by a 4.6 km Cross Test on soft and at times muddy terrain, and finally a 5 km Enduro Test on softer ground.
Nathan Watson opened with a P6 in E2 on Saturday, then climbed the ranks on Sunday with a class P3 and P4 overall in EnduroGP, thanks to solid times in the Cross Test.
Brad Freeman pushed through the pain to finish P4 in E3 on Saturday, but was forced to sit out Sunday’s race due to persistent knee pain.

Great results also came from Beta-supported Junior teams, with podiums and standout performances. Leo Joyon (OX Moto) took double victories in Junior 1, while Clement Clauzier (Team Atomic Moto) finished P4 on Saturday and P5 on Sunday. In Junior 2, strong showings from Davide Mei (Team Entrophy, P4 Saturday), Diego Haution (Team Atomic Moto, P4 Sunday), and Matej Skuta (Mc Regnano, P5 Sunday).

Riola Sardo, Italy

Sandy terrain and tough conditions didn’t stop Ben Watson, who secured a solid Top 10 overall result with a P8 in Race 1 and an impressive comeback in Race 2 (P12 after starting last). With a 9th overall for the day, Watson moved up to 14th in the championship standings.
Tom Koch had a tougher weekend, forced to retire from Race 1 and closing P20 in Race 2. In qualifying, Koch placed 24th. A minor mistake at the start left him in 21st place in the first laps. In Race 1, a crash ruled him out after a few laps, and although Race 2 was still challenging, he managed to finish in 20th place.

Ben Watson: “The GP of Sardinia was a positive weekend. I felt really fast on Saturday morning and tried to get into the rhythm of the track without focusing too much on the results. Physically I felt great, and I’m looking forward to racing in Arco next weekend.”
Tom Koch: “I knew this would be one of the toughest weekends of the season. Even though the track conditions suited me, I just couldn’t get a clean lap in. I was too stiff on the bike. Now we’ll reset and focus on the next round to aim for better results.”

Rawson, Victoria (Australia)

A solid weekend for the Beta Australia Enduro Team at rounds 3 and 4 of the Australian Enduro Championship, held in Rawson, Victoria.
On Saturday, riders tackled a slippery and demanding hard-pack track, made even more difficult by recent rain, in an 8-lap, 3-hour cross-country format. Jye Dickson finished 2nd in the E3 class and 5th overall in Pro Enduro. Andrew Wilksch recovered from a crash early on and worked his way back to 6th overall and 3rd in E2. Strong performance also from Ebony Nielsen, who battled at the front and finished 3rd in the EW class.
Sunday featured a sprint format, with Dickson putting on a standout performance, winning the E3 class and taking 3rd overall in Pro Enduro. Wilksch repeated his 3rd place finish in E2, while Nielsen ended the day in 4th in EW.
A promising weekend for the Australian squad, showing continued progress.
