It was a challenging weekend for Beta Racing, with the team tackling the muddy traps of Motegi, Japan, and kicking off the Belgian Enduro Championship. A mix of strong performances, unexpected setbacks, and well-earned podiums. Here’s how it went.

The third round of the 2025 TrialGP World Championship took place in Motegi, Japan, on a course made particularly challenging by heavy rain, which turned the sections into real mud traps. These tough conditions put the riders to the test, but the Beta athletes didn’t hold back.

In the TrialGP Women class, Andrea Sofia Rabino confirmed her consistency and determination, finishing second on both days and maintaining her overall second place in the Championship standings.
It was a tougher weekend for Matteo Grattarola in the TrialGP class, who had to battle through the extreme track conditions. Despite some impressive sections, a few too many mistakes cost him a podium finish, and he ended both days in fifth place, holding onto fourth in the Championship.
In the same category, Hugo Dufrese showed signs of progress, finishing eighth on Saturday and seventh on Sunday, solidifying his position in the standings.

In Trial2, Harry Hemingway shone in his first Japanese outing – second on Saturday and a stunning winner on Sunday – a result that puts him at the top of the Championship.
It was a tougher weekend for his brother George, also in Trial2, who finished 11th on Saturday but recovered well with a solid fifth on Sunday, confirming his fifth place in the Championship.
Strong performances also came from Alice Minta in the TrialGP Women class, with a fifth and a fourth place over the two days.

Next stop for the 2025 TrialGP World Championship: Corsica, France, on the weekend of May 30th and June 1st.

Meanwhile, in Belgium, Beta riders have kicked off their enduro season, taking on tough challenges and finding personal satisfaction along the way.

One standout is Martin Robert, who, after months of training on his Beta 450 RX, switched to the 390 RR just in time for the start of the season. Despite only two test sessions, he managed a promising 26th place at the Val de Lorraine (21st on Saturday).
Just two weeks later, he returned to racing in Vouziers for the opening round of the Belgian Enduro Championship, finishing 10th overall and 6th among his championship competitors. Unfortunately, a crash during training at the end of April forced him to take a six-week break.

“I hit a hidden tree log with my footpeg and broke a small part of my humerus. I can still move my arm, but I need to stay off the bike for a while. I’ll be back at Chimay on June 15th, and luckily, a new round has been added on June 29th in Conty, France, giving me a chance to regain some valuable points.”
